Position Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience:
- Implementing and leading QHSE Programs and BRC/ISO in GMP manufacturing background
- Successfully managing, interacting, and negotiating with the customer and Industry regulators regarding accreditations
- Ideally, Experience leading at least one new ISO certification for a manufacturing organisation.
- Ideally will hold QHSE Management and Lead Auditor Certification.

Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the site health and safety function to ensure compliance to company and customer specifications and standards for all food and non-food products.
- Ensure that the factory is audit ready at all times and strict GMP standards are maintained
- Leading all external audits (BRC, ISO, Customers and Suppliers).
- Maintaining all aspects of quality management system and full compliance with BRC v6 and and PS9000. Maintaining the site’s QMS, HACCP and document control system.
- Facilitate Management reviews and co-ordinate reviews of objective plan actions.
- Maintain and utilise software programme Pro-Active. (training can be given if required)
- Respond to all clients QHSE related audits (from commercial to product and site), including attending meetings to represent the company in relative clients’ meetings.
- Managing the site's audit internal programme, conducting internal audits. Conducting and updating the site complaint system.
- Develop and maintain internal processes related to H&S to ensure the safety of all employees. Management of processes training and development of the HOD, QA & Hygiene teams with regard to all accreditations and regular updates.
- Managing the site's pest control programme.
- Completing customers’ charters/questionnaires.
- Setting out and continually improving the supplier approval process.
- Where necessary perform physical audits on supplier’s premises.
- Ensure Waste reports are submitted to customer on request
- Continually review the training process and documents so the OPM training academy continuously improves. This includes departmental health and safety training.
