The OPM Group were happy to sponsor a table at this year’s Beef & Beer Dinner, for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. Once again it was an incredibly successful night, raising a total of £47,443 in aid of the hospice. OPM would just like to say congratulations to the Manorlands Challenge Committee for organising another great event.
Held to raise vital funds for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, the evening was a huge success with 241 guests digging deep to raise an amazing total on the night through ticket sales, a lucky dip raffle, quiz and auction.
The dinner took place in November at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley, and as in previous years, guests enjoyed prime sirloin of beef donated by Dovecote Park near Pontefract, producers of finest British beef, and cask ales donated by Timothy Taylor & Co Ltd.
Maintaining vital care for local people
Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice provides incredible palliative care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses living in Craven, Airedale and Wharfedale, as well as central, northern and western areas of Bradford. To maintain its vital services the hospice needs to raise £2.1 million from voluntary donations every year.
Next year’s dinner will be held on Thursday 12th November.
In addition – next year’s Coniston Challenge Day will be held on Thursday 2nd July – if you would like more information about these events or would like to register your interest please call us the Fundraising Team on 01535 640448 or email [email protected].
