Leeds Manufacturing Alliance Visit OPM Group

By OPM (Labels & Packaging) Group Ltd
schedule17th Apr 23

Today OPM (Labels & Packaging) Group Ltd had the pleasure of hosting Leeds Manufacturing Alliance Steering Group, as part of our ongoing work with Leeds Manufacturing Festival.

The group meets online on the second Thursday of the month, but also has a quarterly in-person meeting combined with a company visit. The idea is to share best practice and enable peer-to-peer networking to help business leaders expand their scope of possibility, challenge fixed assumptions raise expectations and ways of working, and mindsets.

It was a great opportunity to engage with other local industry professionals and discuss how the world of manufacturing is changing.

Participants enjoyed breakfast, followed by a site tour and talk about the history of OPM and the challenges and triumphs that we have faced in our 40+ years.

We look forward to working with some of our new contacts and continuing our involvement with the local and national manufacturing alliance.

A big thank you to MPM, The Leeds Welding Company, Greyhound Box, MakeUk, Kirkstall Precision Engineering, Involution, Pland Stainless, Leeds City Council, Love Handmade Cakes, Manufacturing Growth Programme and last but not least David Baggaley.
